SBS 2003 continuous restart loop.
The log shows a failure to install a sp1 catalog I think. Anyway, the error causes the machine to reboot. I reboot, not from the CD, and windows setup starts again, I get the same fatal error and another reboot. XP Home install in Reboot loop
After the installation, it reboots the machine. It always comes back up to the Novell login, and allows me to login, but immediately following, the machine reboots. This login-reboot loop continues forever. I have tried this twice now, and it only happens after I install the Zen for desktop management agent stuff.

I tried again by first removing the 4.7 client, but I got the same result with the 4.8 install: installation completes, computer reboots, I haven't actually seen that before - normally when there's a problem with the client install there are problems with the logon screen, or the workstation blue screens.

Windows 2000 reboot loop
I put in the Win 2k Pro Installation Disk and ran a repair on it. It said that my disk was corrupt and that it couldn't repair the OS. drive (or probably get a new one) or has anyone had the autochk error like I had and you simply have to put autochk back into the WINNT directory to fix the endless reboot loop?

Help! Caught In Windows Reboot Loop!
I ran the in place upgrade on the backup disc and it performed perfectly, asking me to activate the installation as normal when the upgrade finished. I have a feeling that there are some files that are causing the upgrade to go into a reboot loop. The XP pro CD i am booting from is an SP1a CD.

If you're getting all the way to the hard drive trying to boot Windows, then the reboot loop could very well at this point be Windows-related. Have you booted off your Windows CD and done a "repair Windows installation"? These are options you could try if it's a Windows XP problem and not hardware.

You may find that after checking your disks, setup will call for a reboot. If so, select the original installation - the disk repair may have fixed your Now, the server is caught in a reboot loop.
